Astralis have moved Christian ‘Buzz’ Andersen and Johannes ‘b0RUP’ Borup to the bench, with the previous Heroic duo of Martin ‘stavn’ Lund and Jakob ‘jabbi’ Nygaard becoming a member of the roster – a transfer foreshadowed by Heroic themselves.
With CS2’s first aggressive season now underway, Astralis’ roster was instantly on the rocks, after experiences that the group was focusing on the Heroic duo of jabbi and stavn.
Heroic had tried to have the duo resign with them with longer contracts, after assembly their demand to bench IGL cadiaN, however the duo supposedly reneged on the settlement, as a substitute stating their intention to hitch Astralis.
Though Heroic made clear they wished to retain their providers, the transfer has now been facilitated, with new firepower now injected into the Astralis lineup.
