Retired Dota 2 star Sébastien “Ceb” Debs recently hosted an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit to advertise Redbull Gaming’s documentary about their life entitled “Greatest Comeback In Dota 2 History: The Return Of Ceb.”
During the session, he responded many questions regarding their experience using OG and exactly what it is prefer to be the most respected Dota 2 players globally.
However, one concern caught the interest of numerous.
A user called Kiryuukazuma007 asked why the Southeast Asia (SEA) area is poor in Dota 2 tournaments in comparison to other areas.
Ceb replied, “Lack of leadership and experience, for me.” This declaration holds some truth when contemplating the region’s performance in Dota 2 through the years.
Despite having a very good fanbase, just a number of Southeast Asian groups are making a direct effect within the worldwide Dota 2 scene.
Notable these include Fnatic and TNC through the International 2016.
TNC made headlines if they eliminated OG within the second-round reduced bracket regarding the competition. Meanwhile, Fnatic finished fourth in the exact same occasion. Furthermore, Orange Esports earned a third-place finish during the Overseas 2013 by using Chai “Mushi” Yee Fung.
Still, Ceb recognizes the passion and skill of water players in general.
“There is tremendous skill (in water),” he included.
